Validata™ is ready to receive June extracts

Remember to submit extracts in chronological order (the May extract must be uploaded, validated and submitted before you can submit your June data).

About SHIP

Welcome to Specialist Homelessness Information Platform (SHIP), the client management system to support agencies in reporting for the new Specialist Homelessness Services (SHS) collection.

The SHS collection is an important national source of information on services that support homeless people. It paints a clearer picture of homelessness across Australia, which contributes to a better future for those affected.

Access

Access to SHIP is provided solely to authorised users.

By logging on to this application you accept the SHIP Conditions of Use and you affirm that you understand that penalties may apply for misuse of SHIP and the information it contains.

All access to the system is logged and monitored.

Need help using SHIP?

For help with SHIP, email apps@infoxchange.org or phone 1800 627 191 (option 1).
For help with Validata™ to upload extracts or resolve critical errors, email homelessness@aihw.gov.au or phone the AIHW SHS Hotline on 1800 627 191 (option 2).

Online help

Support is also available via the Online Help website that has a Frequently Asked Questions page and a contact us page where you can contact the support team.

Find My Way Portal

We are excited to announce the upcoming release of the Find My Way Portal, an initiative by the WA Department of Communities. The full launch of the portal is scheduled for 31 March 2025.

As valued customers of SHIP-WA, you will be given early access to preview the features of the Find My Way Portal and start setting up your service details. The preview launch is planned for release during the week commencing 24 February 2025.

Additionally, you may have received invitations to register for Q&A sessions run by Anglicare WA. These sessions are a great opportunity to ask questions and learn more about the portal. Training guidance material created by the team at Anglicare WA is also available to assist you. You can access these materials via the following link:
